Differences between abrasion resistant composite steel plate and heat-treated abrasion resistant ste

At present, there are mainly two kinds of abrasion resistant steel plates on the market, one is abrasion resistant composite steel plate, and the other is heat-treated abrasion resistant steel plate. How to choose these two wear-resistant steel plates, you need to understand the differences between them.

The abrasion-resistant layer of abrasion resistant composite steel plate is high alloy composition, and it has the effect of secondary hardening at a certain temperature, and it can generally work below 650°C.

Heat-treated abrasion resistant steel plate will gradually lose their hardness when it is used at a temperature higher than 250°C, which will greatly reduce the abrasion resistance. Thermal cutting and welding will also cause a decrease in hardness in the heat-affected zone.

Plasma cutting is generally used for thermal cutting of abrasion resistant composite steel plate, which has many restrictions on forming, and its bending performance is far inferior to that of heat-treated abrasion-resistant steel plate.

The heat-treated abrasion-resistant steel plate can be applied to all cutting and blanking methods, and the bending and forming performance are good. Under the condition of complying with a certain process, machining and welding can also be reliably achieved.
