Scholars from East China Jiaotong University used ultrasonic fatigue test to investigate the effect of ultrasonic impact on the ultra-high cycle fatigue properties of EN10028-3 P355NL1 steel plate welded joints. The results show that the fatigue SN curve shows that the fatigue performance of the impact state specimen is higher than that of the as-welded specimen in the 105-109 life span. Under the fatigue life of 1.0×108, the welded state EN10028-3 P355NL1 steel plate test The fatigue strength of the sample is 139 MPa, the fatigue strength of the impact state is 217 MPa, and the fatigue strength of the impact state is increased by 56% compared with the welded state, which indicates that the ultrasonic impact can significantly improve the fatigue strength of the welded joint of EN10028-3 P355NL1 steel plate. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to observe the fracture morphology, and it was found that the crack source was located on the surface of the welded joint root zone.
