What is the steel Q355 grade?

Q355 grade is a new steel material that replace Q345 grade in new standard GB/T1591. The steel grade consists of four parts Q (the first character "Qu" of the yield strength in Chinese spelling ),355 ( the minimum tensile strength value in MPa), delivery condition(AR, N, M) and steel quality (B, C, D, E, F). The AR as rolled condition is often omitted like Q355B.
Due to the different delivery condition, there are different chemical composition and mechanical properties requirement for Q355 steel. Below is the details information of hot rolled Q355 structural steel plates. Q355B steel is equal to Q345B and S355JR steel.
