12CrMo pearlitic heat-resistant steel

12CrMo steel belongs pearlitic heat-resistant steel, which mainly contain chromium,molybdenum,the total content is generally not more than 5%. In addition to pearlite,ferrite, its organization also has bainite. Cold strain plasticity and machinability are good, also good weldability. 12CrMo steel is widely used in the heat-resistant parts below 600 ℃,such as boiler steel pipe,turbine impeller,rotor,fasteners and high pressure vessels,pipes and so on.
Welding use DC welding arc machine, power supply using DC reverse method. the gas is used to preheat the positioning before posting welding. Chrome molybdenum pearlitic heat-resistant steel should be immediately carry out high temperature tempering,the purpose of its post-weld heat treatment is not only to prevent the occurrence of delayed cracks and eliminate residual welding stress,more importantly is to improve the joint organization to improve the joint mechanical properties.
Heat treatment specifications and microstructure:
Heat treatment specifications: quenching 900 ℃, air cooling; tempering 650 ℃, air cooling.
